My approach to counselling and therapy
As a therapist, I value you as the expert of your own life, knowing that my place is that of a guide to provide direction and support when needed. I value the therapeutic relationship, understanding it as an important force in the therapeutic process. I value spirituality and the way it guides us with an inner knowing, gives meaning to our experiences, and shapes our understanding of the world - I welcome all forms of spiritual expression and beliefs. All of this exists above my foundational values of human rights and justice, knowing that each of us is affected by history, systems, and policies.

Having been trained in the following modalities, my practice is guided by:
-
Narrative Therapy

Solution-Focused Therapy
